Our sightseeing holidays will let you sit back and enjoy the ride. We take you to some of the best places in the area - picturesque towns and villages where you might enjoy a restaurant meal and a walk around a market - castles and chateaux where you can step back in time and wonder at the magnificent architecture - gardens and natural sites where you can walk and enjoy the scenery and scents - and much more.

On our sightseeing holidays you can choose a theme that your are interested in, or have the variety package. For instance, you might like to spend a week looking around chateaux and gardens. Or maybe you would like to spend a week in natural places, by rivers and lakes. Maybe you would like to visit all the local market towns and experience a little local French life. Or maybe you would like to do a little of everything - including having some relaxation time at home in the tranquil gardens.

The choice is yours - you can do as much as you like, or simply have a few excursions and enjoy a peaceful time "at home".

We plan to have a meal or two out (dietary restrictions allowing) and maybe a picnic. It would also be good to visit at least one of the local markets - whatever your choice of theme.

All excursions, a restaurant meal out and entry fees are included in the price. We do all the work - you just enjoy your surroundings, good food and good company.

Use of guest garden, garden furniture and use of fridge for your own drinks and ice.

Available between Easter and End October.

Limoges Airport or Chateauroux Station collection service available and included in price. No need to hire a car on these holidays.

SIGHTSEEING HOLIDAYS: Sightseeing in Central France - Price: 650€ per person - full board, all escorted trips / entrance fees / meal out included.  

Not included in price: Transfer from and to either Limoges Airport or Chateauroux Train Station but it can be provided at an extra charge of 120€ / 60€ respectively.  Alcohol (other than wine with main meals) - though you are welcome to purchase and consume your own.

MAKE A RESERVATION:  You can pay by Credit or Debit card, French Bank Cheque or use your PayPal balance. Payment in sterling can be made by arrangement. We ask for a 100€ deposit per person (non-refundable) with balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

For all visits, we recommend you take out separate travel insurance to cover you for loss, cancellation, sickness etc.

Step 1. Check the availability calendar (always up-to-date). You may choose any available dates that suit your plane/train schedules - however, if you'd like to confirm first by email please do so.

Step 2. Fill in your booking form IMPORTANT: by filling in this form you are making a booking and will be obliged to pay a deposit with 5 working days.

Step 3. Wait for a confirmation email and we will send you details of how to make payment - you will be asked for a deposit, then we will send a balance reminder 6 weeks before arrival.

If you want to mix and match our full board holidays please ask for a quote. IE: mix painting and sightseeing.
