SPECIAL DATES 2009:

• 14th July: The Tour de France is passing by very locally to us this year - coming through Crevant (25 mins), La Châtre (20 mins), St Chartier (30 mins) and finishing stage 10 at Issodun (1 hr). On the 15th July the riders depart from Vatan (1 hr 20 mins) on the 11th stage. More Details

Our bed and breakfast, short breaks and full board holidays are designed to take all the pressure off you to enable you to enjoy your leisure time to the full.

The aim is for you to have the best holiday or short break ever and go home relaxed and inspired in whatever it is that you do. You can do as little or as much as you like here - the choice is yours. The essential themes of La Loge Sagrolle are relaxation, tranquillity and creativity.

FULL BOARD HOLIDAYS

• Art, Sketching and Painting holidays in Central France Tutor: Deborah Waller BA (Hons) - studied at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Desgn for 2 years followed by a 3 year degree at Exeter College of Art & Design. 20 years professional experience in art, design and painting. April to End October.

• ECO-ART Holidays: Have fun and get inspired using natural materials to make your own art materials and get creative with recycled items. Eco for Ecology, Eco for Economy. It's great fun and no skills required. Family groups, couples or individuals - all welcome (It's great for kids too). Tutor: Deborah Waller BA (Hons). All year round.

• Condensed Art Foundation Course - 1 week of intense and experimental art to loosen you up and get you raring to go. It's and a great deal of fun. Suitable for beginners or more experienced.

• Sight-seeing holidays - visit the best places in the area - make use of our insider knowledge. We provide you maps and itinerary so you waste no time wondering where to go and how to get there. Plenty of relaxation time too.

• Divination with Cassandra Eason a 3 day course (4 nights full board) divination course with world renowned expert, Cassandra Eason. Learn Tarot, runs and scrying. Make your own runes.

BED & BREAKFAST

• 25€ per person per night. No single person supplement. Includes a hearty breakfast.

• Beautifully decorated and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in our recently renovated property

• Superb food - we can cater for many diets including vegetarian, wheat and gluten intolerances etc.

• Our food is home-cooked with vegetables in season from the garden or local markets. We have our own free range chickens for eggs.

• Flexible holidays - if you can't see what you want, please ask, we will do our best to accommodate your needs

Our full board holidays are suitable for single people, couples and small groups.

For single travellers - this is a special note. We know how difficult it is to travel alone, to eat alone at restaurants - it can spoil a holiday. Here you will be part of the family.  You will not be lonely, but if you want to be alone then that's fine too, there's plenty of private space on the property. If there is a meal out, you will be accompanied by your host(s). Eating back at home is a family affair. So, you can come here as a lone traveller and have a wonderful time with good company when you need it.

Who are we?

We are a very creative family who also have a strong interest in the countryside, gardening, food and cooking, food from the countryside and above all art.

Deborah your Art Tutor - She lives next door and is a full time artist and designer. She trained for 5 years at Bournemouth and Exeter colleges of Art & Design to degree level before running her own graphic design company for 20 years.

In 2004, she ventured south to dedicate more time to painting (and raising her daughter). She works in a variety of media, including inks, earth pigments, collage, acrylics, collage and oils  see her website.

Anne - she is your accommodation host. Anne has spent several years renovating the property and creating the garden, which is now open to our guests to relax in and enjoy the superb views, both near and far.

Anne has painted most of her adult life. She is highly accomplished in watercolour, oils and acrylics, as well as mixed media and painting on silk.

John - also accommodation co-host - He has, along with Anne, created the property you will be staying at.

He works hard growing the vegetables and maintaining the property.

So that's us... but we cannot forget to mention...

We also have our chucks - so mostly our eggs are provided by them and are simply delicious. Sorry, if you have any pet allergies, you may not like it here.

• Gift vouchers can be used against any B&B, holiday or short break available on this site when paying by credit/Debit Card or Paypal.  (The person redeeming the voucher will need to sign up for a Paypal account if they do not have one,  but it's easy, fast and free).
